Need a couple of tyres myself as it happens. Waiting to get paid next week.
I've had Pirelli, Michelin, Continental, Good Year, and some of the low budget tyres in my time.

I'm currently on Michelin Pilots, which were original equipment on my car, (it's not that old and on its first set.)

But the best value tyres I've had are Firestone Firehawk TZ300s. They combine good road holding, good grip in the wet, low road noise, (a big problem with some of the budget brands) with a reasonable price.

Expect to pay about €65 a corner.

Nice one D

I never thought about the road noise issue, though the father-in-law is getting rid of his car because of road noise amongst other problems with it.
