Default Batteries Stuck In Wireless Keyboard

Two Duracell AAA batteries are stuck in my Hewlet Packard wireless keyboard. No matter how much force i apply to try and get them out they won't budge.Im thinking of getting a knife to try and slide it underneath them to force them out but im worried that doing such a thing could damage the compartment where the batteries go in.Anyone else ever have this problem?

Use superglue to glue an old shoe lace to the batteries.

After 10 minutes you should be able to pull one out and then wedge the other out.

I usually use something like an allen key to get in under it and pull it out. As the battery should only be held in place by the spring force of the contact it shouldn't take much force to dislodge it.
THere's a possibility though that the batter has corroded onto the contact - check for a kind of greenish corrosion. If that's there you might need to scrape that off first using a pen-knife.
If it doesn't come anyway you're going to have a useless battery compartment where you'll have to wire in something in it's place. Bit of a pain for a wireless keyboard
