When you're down doing Top of the Rock, check out this place.

Top of the Rock is way better than Empire St.

Check if there are any events on in Madison Square Gardens too.

Comedy clubs are a good way to spend the odd evening too.

And definitely go to Central Park, love that place.

Check out the Tick Tock Diner next to the New Yorker hotel for breakfast.

Typical NY diner with a huge menu.

Get the pancakes.

Thanks Gozzy. It's a bit far from my hotel in Times Square for breakfast. But I might stop off there if I'm nearby.

Any last minute advice appreciated.

Got my tickets to see The Cher Show and a Staten/Ellis Island cruise. (I assume the best way from Times Square to Battery Park is by Cab?
get a burger and a manhattan at the bar in minetta. get a burger and a manhattan at the bar in PJ clarkes. get a burger and a manhattan at the bar in JG melon's.

after 8 years in NY that's pretty much all i do.

comedy cellar can be great on a week night. need to book in a week in advance online (free booking so no harm if you decide to skip), or get there early to put your name down for standby tickets.

Just back. NY is a different gravy.

The taxi from the hotel back to the airport was a fucking nightmare. It was all I could do to stop myself hitting the driver. What a dangerous cunt.

Other than that I had a great time. Will give an update later.

Is it still a flat $55 for the taxi?

Pain in the hoop alright. I took the subway to Jamaica and the train onwards the last time, now I know the route it's the way I'll go from now on.

We used GO Airlink NY https://www.goairlinkshuttle.com/nyc...SABEgJihfD_BwE and shared a Mini Bus. The return fare for the two of us into our Times Square hotel from Newark Liberty Airport was $76.
