Default Homegrown Festival

word reaching us of a Cork Music Festival that's supposed to be happening on the 3rd & 4th of December 2005

100 acts of Music, Art & Comedy in venues all over the city




anyone have any more details?

yeah There new to cork, printing company with flyer outlets ( someone sold up) and CD duplication facilities

3 guys have formed a company that specialise in printing (flyers, posters anything to do with paper and ink) they also have a proper CD duplication machine (so I’m told) which can do small runs.
These guys are booking venues at the moment while also looking for sponsorship and for course bands.
Personally I think the idea of this festival being this big so soon is pie in the sky but I loved to be proven wrong.
BTW it looks like they have money and contacts so stranger things have happened

Spoofers looking for publicity....100 acts 8.5 weeks to go and no venues booked, no advertising,no sponsorship....sound s just like Viva Cork to me......
