he's probably down the marina with his dreams tossed and blown, walking alone through a storm, listening for the silver song of a lark

He'd be an ideal 3rd striker. Fast, smart, knowd where the goal is. May also be available for a reasonable fee, think he's not far off the end of his contract.

what's Philby on about?

he'd do well at LFC but i can only see him go there if he's a replacement for 1 of the SAS, not an addition.

Being 3rd choice at Liverpool would be no huge insult. The first choice pair are phenominal.

If Liverpool can secure CL football then they'll need a quality, trustworthy striker capable of filling in for rotation or maybe even long spells of injury/suspension to Sturridge or Suarez.

Remy may fancy CL football, a bump in wages and the chance to shine in a side playing exceptional attacking football.

He may even think he could oust Sturridge (I don't, but footballers are cocky beings) or that Suarez will be out the door sooner rather than later.

Hell..Rodgers may even find a way to incorporate all three!

BTW he actually has 3 years of his contract to run once we hit the Summer. So hopes of a cut-price deal are pretty unlikely.
Both Liverpool and Arsenal are said to be on Remy's tail.

And there's talk of a buy-out clause in his contract being around the £8m mark.

A great little addition for whoever nabs him IMHO

He is a fine striker. Hopefully Martinez might have try and nab him.

I'd imagine that the lack of CL football would exclude Everton as a likely destination.
