Gun found at the scene. Seemingly a senior detective involved in gangland investigation.

It must be a miserable job at times like, aside from the dangers that come with the nature of it.

You could end up posted in some small village away from your family, and would probably be outcast by the locals who don't take kindly to an outsider coming in. If you walked into the pub at the weekend you could be sure that people are talking about you and giving the cold shoulder. Or course a lot of people like the gards too, me being one of them.

And then of course you throw the likes of the McCabe carry on in, and it's no surprise that lads are depressed.
