Default How will we do against Kerry?

Apparently we've been going very well in training but no Corkery, no Brendan Ger and Clifford is ruled out with injury (was going well this year by all accounts). I also hear that Anthony Lynch is a major doubt. If he doesn't make it, it's not looking good for us at all.

How do ye reckon we'll do against Kerry? Are we looking at maybe a good run in the qualifiers, possibly getting to a semi final, as being a decent season for us especially after the disaster that was last year, or can we have a decent crack at the All Ireland this year?

kerry are absolutely flying in training and after a bad performance against clare will surely be on song - im afraid i dont think weve a chance especially with the injuries we have but look at the players at their disposal pure class like - the gooch and mike frank are on fire for their clubs - the ginger haired fella is playing the football of his life i hear - we need anthony lynch at his best and even at that this boy has made a fool of him before - i just dont see it happening but red cards could tell a story!! they are able to pick off scores at ease with either foot

Lynch is definitely out I heard. Apparently Billy confirmed it. Huge blow for us. Can't see us beating them to be honest...

they aint that bad a bunch - we have some class acts in there but we lack scoring forwards and suffer coz kerry are so strong at present - coupled with the loss of brendan ger and corkery with potential injury losses of lynch and clifford these four players will make it an almost impossible task - but we always give kerry a good game down there and i dont expect this one to be different - they will beat us though in my reckoning

also - unfortunally is not a word

A good strong run in the qualifiers is whats required. The Cork football team needs to win a few big championship games this year. Consistent hard-working simple style football would be a great boost. They need to develop a style and stick to it throughout all games. To me, it's as if they panic when in possession of the ball and create no options for each other thus running every ball into the corners and as a last effort usually kick from crazy angles.

Probably sticking my head out here, but last year I felt for some reason that there was too much confidence in the team. That day in the Pairc they felt as if it was a case of just turning up to win against Limerick. I dunno where they got it from. I'd say Larry had them built up like superstars.
