Was in town last night and couldn't believe the Christmas Decorations were getting put up on the street already. Pembroke Street closed off last night while workers on cherry pickers were erecting them.

And this morning I noticed that the Courtyard in Soberlane has the whole Christmas greenery with fairy lights up and lit.

It's getting like the Poppy stuff now - an unseemly race to get them up as early in the year as possible. God be with the days when the decorations only started going up around the 8th of December

Is it Denmark that has a law forbidding any advertising or shops decorating for Christmas until the month of December. Now that's a law we could be doing with imho.
