Default Local politicians?

Why do we need local politicians ?
What do they actually do for us ?

When they call around looking for your vote in a few months time they will be very interested in all your problems and they will promise all sorts.

..local or otherwise Rox, politicians are quite simply ego-maniacs who desperately want to be seen and heard they don't so much represent anyone but as a parasite that is willing to whore themselves any cause so long as they get a photo call in the local gazette...locals elected to serve us is a comical delusion, they are the last remnants of snake oil salesmen....the very notion of being altruistic would terrify and horrify them.

Spot on doolaly the current nurses dispute is manna from heaven for some politicians..spend a half hour on the picket with them for photo ok is the order of the day for votes with local elections on the way.

Thinking the same during the week
It's all about the vote
A lot of it is false but people are gullible .

Btw I have utmost respect for nurses
