I love Grace, it is basically a flawless album IMO. Lots of artists have tried to cover his songs, but there is no improvement on perfection.

His sound, his emotion, and the general atmosphere that permeates when you listen to this record. It's otherworldly.

He reminds me of Hozier ( or rather Hozier reminds me of him i suppose). Technically great, and capable of spine chilling performances but could never warm to either.

Hozier is awful and does not deserve to be mentioned anywhere near Jeff Buckley's name.

Grace is an incredible album IMO. If anyone, you included, doesn't find "Lover you should have come over" sping-tingling, then that is the ultimate proof that music is subjective.

One the singular voices of a generation. I would have loved to see what he could have done.

Listened to Grace a lot in my early 20s.

Don't think it has aged terribly well tbh.

Rubbish swimmer.

The Sex Pistols.
Music wasnt great, the Clashs hits were better then everything bar a couple of the Sex Pistols songs.
But the Sex Pistols were the ones who changed everything. Without them you wouldnt have some of the greatest band and tunes. They showed kids that anyone could do it and at the time that idea was revolutionary Also there was a lot of dross on the Clash's albums and their virtue signaling left wing politics were annoying. They wrote a song criticising the movie Taxi Driver ffs.

His version of Alleluia was good, none of the rest has stood the test of time imo.
Ranked for me the same as Mic Christopher.
