Default Nondisclosure Agreement (NDA)

Why Bother with an NDA?

A nondisclosure agreement (NDA) is a contract between two parties where one, or both, agree to keep some specific information confidential but as with any contract, a nondisclosure agreement can be legally broken or ended because it might not be legally enforceable so you can break it if you can win a lawsuit related to it.

For example, just noticed the Cristiano Ronaldo situation where in 2010 an out-of-court settlement involving a $375,000 (£288,000) payment for agreeing never to go public with the allegations as part of a nondisclosure agreement.

So what is the point of having an nondisclosure contract if this is the possible outcome!
