CRUDO? Who are they? Over to Ipecac:

“Also wanted to let you know that there is a new Patton project that is about to show it's face. Yeah, another one. Seems that Mike and Dan the Automator have been cooking up some music and after a little marinating are about to reveal... CRUDO. Not much is known about Crudo, but we know this, they will be playing the super cool music festival, Sasquatch, at the end of May in the state of Washington at the Gorge.”

i was at the fennesz/patton gig myself... thought it was amazing stuff... his voice is actually limitless..... its insane!!! i really enjoyed the supporting acts too

i have to agree that it would have been alot better if i was sittin though....
but i was right up the front and never thought in my life that i'd be that close to the man himself... twas great....
also stuck around afterwards and met him....... he really does look crazy....
that made my night though!

I dunno if i'd ever want to meet Patton. It'd be sort of a let down if he didn't at least attempt to bite my nose off or summit like that.

Patton / Fennesz was one of the highlights of last year's Primavera for me. Mind-blowin!

Well this is some old Patton stuff thanks to the good people at metal sludge...

Found two more sets of Mr. Bungle demos (not studio releases):

1987 Bowl Of Chiley

Originally recorded in 1987 on cassette. Released without band permission in 1991 (Playhouse Productions) as a bootleg cassette erroneously titled "Bowl of Chiley," and again in 1997 (Rastacore Records) as a CD that was sold by several large music stores until the band put a stop to it. Two versions of "Bowel of Chiley" exist, with slightly different Mr Bungle - Bowel of Chiley lists:

01. For No Reason
02. Nicotina
03. Incoherence
04. Carousel
05. Evil Satan
06. Jumping (Part One)
07. Jumping (Part Two)
08. Cottage Cheese
09. You Can't Make Me Mad
10. ( )
11. Freight Train
12. No Strings Attached
13. Fart in a Bag
14. Walkin' in Circles
15. Definition of Shapes
16. Snap, Crackle, Pop
17. Hi!

Mike Patton - Vocals
Trevor Dunn - Bass
Trey Spruance - Guitar
Hans Wagner - Drums
Theo Lengyel - Saxophone
Scott Fritz - Trumpet

Ha, good man Mike.
I think its safe to say that its nigh on impossible to keep up with everything Patton does. Though my buddy is on the Ipecac mailing list, and he says its pretty eh, thorough.

There's a Fantomas album - The Directors Cut, all the tracks are renditions of movie themes and the like, but not Italian movies. Stuff like The Godfather, Rosemarys Baby and Night of the Hunter
