West Ham @ Liverpool and Cardiff @ Bournemouth were spot on.

The rest..less so.

As ever, the PL have endeavoured to keep the CL contenders away from eachother on the first weekend of the season.

I think Liverpool will strengthen further in the summer but I think it's clear for me anyway that Liverpool are getting progressively better under klopp ..last season we used to get stuck a lot more with teams at anfield for instance ..now these sides are being dispatched as our defence has improved with acquisitions like Robertson vvd etc.

Consistency is the keep word here..but that applies to utd Chelsea etc bar city this season. Worth remembering city i believe won't have a 100 point season again. .
I told ye...😃😃

Danny Ings scores his 16th goal in the PL. Delighted for him.

Edit and 17th, great signing for Southampton.

Great goal by Ward Prowse, excellent free kick.

The relegation battle is a battle of who is going to be the least shit because they’re all in poor form. I think Watford will escape just about. Villa can’t score and West Ham can’t defend. Norwich are well and truly gone. Bouremouth are in massive trouble but Howe seems like someone who could scrape a few wins out of them to nudge them out of it.

Lots of praise and talk about Adama Traore joining a bigger club but I think I prefer Saint-Maximin at Newcastle. Has plenty to improve upon in terms of his end product but he’s a brilliant dribbler with a box of tricks and can play off either wing. He’s someone I think Klopp could turn into something special.

This is nuts

If Premier League matches this season ended at half time, Wolves would be BOTTOM of the table
