New Pink Floyd album my arse, David Gilmour has basically warmed over 20 year old songs that werent considered good enough for "The Division Bell" of all things and slapped "Pink Floyd" on it again, I like some of his solo stuff but to call this Pink Floyd is ridiculous, taking the piss really

Even if the album is just one big jam session it will probably still be better than 90% of the crap that's out there at the moment. |

plenty of good new stuff out there but obv a new PF lp is gonna get tons of press etc
not a big fan of division bell i have to say but will give the new lp a listen when it comes out as i absolutely love gilmour's guitar style |

If this is cast offs from the Division Bell and A Momentary Lapse, then I'm not holding out much hope. They're mediocre at best tbh.
They were at their best when all 4 members were involved. Even when Waters started to exert more control towards the end htey went a bit off. The Wall is nowhere near as good as DSOTM or WYWH.
Or even Echoes.
