They have to take a chance on a 25 million pound player and hope he turns out to be half as good. If he doesn't they get relegated. Liverpool cut their losses and buy another one.

That is the fucking point.

Although it's probably unfair to Barca as they reclaimed 200 million when they sold Neymar, so them spunking 150 mill on Couthino doesn't count
Ha! You’re disproving you’re own argument.
Best team in Europe are the 7th highest grossi spenders.
Do you think Barca would rather to have kept Neymar instead of spunking it all on coutinho and dembele? They’d have gross spent €270m and would have a better team.

Thank fuck the football is back tomorrow so you can go back to focusing on giving Olè time for the project, while Larry is freaking out over pochettino being available and united doin nothing about it.

I never said Liverpool were the biggest spenders.

I said one of.

Anyway, I’m glad the football is back too. If Liverpool end their 30 year wait, yourself and Phil can enhance it further by pretending it only cost three quid.

They were due to be but if they didn’t train properly they won’t be playing. Klopp didn’t give much away in the press conference

Palace set up very well. They're blocking us down the wings. It's 50 50 and looking a stalemate right now.

Palace goal reversed by VAR. Gonna be v tough... we've a bad record at selhurst park and Palace look impressive.

Something needs to change at HT.

Harsh call on Palace that. They wouldn’t give that as a penalty if it was the other way . Wijnaldum had flicked it on too so it didn’t impact the scoring of the goal . Poor enough first half Palace with the best chance through Ayew. Townsend is sitting on Robertson stopping the attacks down the left .

Two-handed push. Blatant.

I think they're funnelling us into the middle and we don't have the creativity in the centre to move it through their lines. Maybe Keita or Lallanna needed in there
