No time was ever set out for the inquiry but fair dues for falling in to line with the rest of the shinnerbot conspiracy theorists.

I have no issue with same sex marriage but it should not be a red line issue, there are plenty of other people up there who are frustrated as hell at lack of leadership from both parties, get stormont up and running , there are more pressing every day issues for people up there than same sex marriage, If it means putting it to a referendum then at least it is democratic,

Jimmy, it's not a single issue, it was a combination of a number of issues that pushed the relationship beyond breaking point.

Cash for Ash, and it WAS indicated that the report would issue around September 2019 though as said there was no hard and fast specific final date; Red Sky Scandal; Ongoing corruption amongst DUP elected officials, as well as the ANG and SSM.

It was clear that the DUP weren't interested in power-sharing, they were just trying to use SF as a fig-leaf for them to carry on ruling in the north their way for their people, and buck the begrudgers!

They came within a whisker of getting Stormont back up and running after some negotiation earlier, but Arlene, despite having initially agreed a workable compromise with SF, went back to someone behind the scenes in the DUP and was told NO (the favourite chant of the DUP).

If only the authorities would put a little harp symbol and the words "Tithe an Oireactais" on the front of the envelopes, these mistakes would not happen!!

Be some shafting of TG if he loses out on this. A sitting deputy may not be too unhappy mind you!!
Mandy couldn't even pull more than a couple of hundred votes to get a council seat!

If there's any justice Thomas Gould should absolutely walk it imho. No harm to MOLH but she didn't poll well last time out. She's relatively young and her time will come but TG is a very decent and hard working guy and has a lot of political experience. Only thing going against him in a general election, rather than the by-election, is he's from the same part of the constituency as JOB which would mean next time out they'd likely be "fishing in the same pool" whereas MOLH is the other end of the constituency in Glanmire. And a female which would lend itself to the gender balance given that as a sitting TD JOB would have to be one of the names on the ticket in a GE.

I'd still say TG should get the nomination though.
