The Lido in Blackpool was rough,my Mother would not let me go there.
Apparently in early fifties when we had no recycling you would be left in if you brought Jam jars or Bottles instead of money.
The jars and bottles were then sold back to the supplier.

The Capitol on the Grand Parade. Saw the first Stars Wars fillum in there. Shure we walked all the way there like and we only 9 or 10. Saw the fillum anyway. Walking back the three of us pretended we were X-wing fighters or Tie fighters. And we was weaving and ducking and bobbing between the people in the street.
