Relax, it was just a bit of sarcasm because you somehow didn't read a post.
I did read the post, you dimwit, hence why I quoted it. I was agreeing with your comment and elaborating with my own experience of VW v Seat.

Do you not realise, that because I quoted someone else's question TO ME, that I was replying to THEIR post, that I agreed with you...???

now its not basicially a VW it just sits on a VW chassis is all and an old one at that, it doesn't have VW budgets going into its design or vw engineers design it, its parts are nowhere near as robust (and VW's parts ain't exactly terrible robust these days), if you want to compare it with a VW sure its a VW with all parts sourced from the cheapest material manufactured by the cheapest contractors

Well I can tell you that the interior (albeit a different colour and different fabric) was the same on the Polo as the Ibiza and was all strangely similar looking under the bonnet. We're talking a 95 and a 96 model here. Of course since then, the VW quality has deteriorated seriously itself, which is why I didn't buy a newer Polo after my 95. Which, incidentally, still sold for £1750 with 105k on the clock at 10yrs old. Not bad going if you ask me.

Go for a VW Golf or Polo if your looking at that category. Both great cars and very reliable............ Look good too!!!
