Was thinking of Senor Blatter's 'alleged' murky dealings, the red sox betting scandal, etc.

Any tips/ideas......

Matt Le Tissier is lucky he didn't end up doing porridge like the Pakistani lads for argreeing to engage in a bit of spotfixing to cheat the bookies. By telling of an attempt that just about didn't work out you'd wonder about how many attempts did? Certainly brings his character into question.

Ditto John Higgins in the snooker, lucky boy.

If you're serious I'll kick off.

It's not match-fixing or corruption a la Blatter but an indication of how " manky " a sport can become if vested interests are more powerful than the game itself, like the Tour de France.

cricket is rife with it. the latest scandal involved a few pakistan national team players.

the italian football mess a few years ago.

and tennis is apparently one of the most corrupt sports in the world apparently. easy to fix. gambling addict tennis players in gangster's pockets.
