Radisson Edwardian - Peter Street.

Right in the city centre, 2 min walk from Deansgate. I've put my mum n' dad in there when they come over. Its a five star hotel too with a great restaurant. Bring your togs too as its got a great leisure centre. Hope this helps.

As an alternative the Midland hotel is also nice and located in the centre of the city. If you want a funky style hotel the Malmaison is a good option. Mick Hucknell owns it!

Hmmm. Don't even try if Man U are at home. Around Piccadilly there is a Britannia, Sachas, Days, Travel Inn, Hotel Piccadilly, Premier Travel, Novotel Inn ... Ibis..... probably around 70pppn

If you want gay, there's The Rembrant or The New Union.

Places like the Rosetti are posh... there's also apartments that you can ren by the night, not sure of the name, but they're on Princess Street.

Slumming it, thre's a backbackpers type hostel - can't remember the name, but if you really want to know...

If you want unusual, try The Ox.

Deansgate? Not my thing, mainly as I'm too old. If you like happy house and girls wearing very little, it's the place to be. If you can convince the girls you're a footy player... you're in heh heh

Manchester has it's own Time Out, you can pick up things from there. The Metro paper has a list of clubs.

If you like breaks, electro, metal, usually something on every night.

Nice area, but its the manchester equivilant of staying out by CIT. Fallowfield is the student centre of Greater Manchester and most of the bars are student bars and are sometimes picky about leaving in non students. For £80 you can stay closer to the city.
