Their sound incorporates many different styles most notably folk, country, indie and rock. The Citizen is fast becoming recognized as one of Corks most promising bands, captivating audiences and attracting much attention within the music industry. he band has performed at numerous venues throughout Cork and they have been recognized as a very cohesive and polished live act.

Mon 15th Jan -- DAVE'S RADIO
Critics have described the band as a breath of fresh air, raw energy and just what the Irish music industry needs. Their music is soulful, intense, energetic and full of emotion. They produce the most dynamic razor sharp songs with killer guitar riffs all topped off by the charismatic lead vocalist and guitarist David Peyton who is the driving force behind the band and writer of their works. The boys completed their album in September 2006 and is set for release sometime in 2007...... So homo sapiens around the world set your dial to DAVES RADIO for your aural pleasure....
Mon 22nd Jan -- SANGRE LATINO
The group consists of drums, acoustic guitar/vocal, keyboard, bass, and alto saxophone. Their music is a fusion of many styles, including reggae, Afro beat, salsa, samba, and funk rock. Thier set includes numbers from Bob Marley, Manu Chou, traditional Spanish music, and some of thier own original tracks that are influenced by these artists.
Mon 5th Feb -- HEADGEAR & PINKY

Headgear is Daragh Dukes and friends. Headgear perform off kilter songs, ranging from whispery, acoustic tracks, to bombastic, crackling electric epics. A new album called flight cases will be released early this year and headgear will take to the road again soon.

Having appeared on the last series of Other Voices and recently supporting Peter, Bjorn and John at Cyprus Avenue, Pinky returns to Cork with full band & a full set. -----------------------------------------------
Mon 12th Feb -- ROYSEVEN
The band is rapidly picking up fans across the country and across Europe. Last month, the first single from the album 'Older' entered straight into the charts at No. 6, the highest new entry for the week. As for the album itself, it debuted recently at No: 16 in the Irish Album chart.
The band has signed a major deal with Universal in Europe, and won a large sponsorship deal with Volkswagen on the continent.
