Your right Fooseball!
Amazed they didn’t drop to junior! Juniors more competitive than this grade, too many poor teams only acting as fillers really destroying this grade sure Eire og gave NAP a right hammering in the 1/4s last year!

Who was the langer to get rid of relegation?? Madness

This championship looks like a lottery, you could pick 7/8 teams, no stand out team for me.

Tracton, Kildorrery or Mayfield for me. Eire Og and Dungurney also have a chance.

Some very evenly matched teams in this competition. If some of the bigger clubs like Sars, Glen, Rockies, Midleton, Na Piarsaigh could get their act together they could field very strong teams but for some reason they don't put in the effort as all the eggs are in the senior basket. I think they are missing a trick here for developing young players as the Rockies proved it in 2018 though they were depleted by the time they got to the final with so many players lost to the seniors

Way too many clubs in this grade tbh. 26 teams no chance that they are all comparable levels.

Is there any sign of the old style relegation system coming back into effect?? The junior B and junior A championships are very diluted now and the two intermediate and senior championships have way too many teams in them. Any championship to make it ultra competitive should only have 14-16 teams in it and this would also see standards in hurling and football rise through the county.

Agreed. Unfortunately, this and Intermediate football are probably the least interesting county championships. Through no fault of the clubs. System failure. Junior Championships diluted and Intermediate championships bloated

Cloughduv will struggle big time here, They have come up with a good team but haven't stopped drinking since.

A terrible grade where any team with 15 naterual Hurlers could win. 2nd teams should dominate.

You could relegate 5-10 teams to junior and they wouldn't be close to it.
