If they're active at the time it's on then they would be a good bet to be on bill.

Why haven't Jedward, The Coronas and Imelda May been added yet?

That was pretty much it,it was only about 30 quid a ticket too,i think the official excuse was they were working on their new album and were spending more time in the studio or something but as has been mentioned they played Slane the next night,if they couldnt fill it in 2009 they sure as shit wont fill it in 2013

I dont know why people mention The Boss here every year, the guy plays the RDS 2 or 3 nights every time hes here(thats 30,000 people a night)not a hope hell play a 5,000 venue down here,it just aint gonna happen, they would have to charge about 600 quid a ticket to cover his fee

Neil Young is more plausible i think, pretty sure hes touring with Crazy Horse next year,if the 96fm crowd were baffled by electric Neil last time round then i can only imagine what theyll think of Neil with the Horse(ill be loving it though!)despite the moaning last time he actually played a fairly greatest hitsy set(by his standards at least)the current set is full on Horse focusing on the new album

I always taught with Aikens link with the Boss he would get him down to Cork.
It crossed my mind also, but te boss has not played such a small venue in decades, plus he only played 2 x RDS gigs this year, so zero chance.

If he did ever come to Cork it would have to be a solo thing i reckon. Or very stripped down to say the least.

Grizzly Bear, Midlake, Camera Obscura and Villagers did the Marquee. I was working that night but am sure it sold quite well. That being said, why deal with possibly 4 agents, 4 crews and 4 times the headache when you can just deal with one?

the marquee mainly gets it line up from irish acts and one irish comedian also bands playing Glastonbury or Roskilde festival and simon cowell's xfactor acts

why people have issue with christy moore playing his yearly cork show at the marquee is beyond me
