Of course you're not in a thread headed Jobstown Trial , all comments are about it one way or the other.

Garda in helicopter: “It’s fairly dispersed. She’s making a good bit of progress. She’s only, only another 100 metres, not even 50 metres, from the Tallaght Bypass. There’s no pushing or shoving or anything. The Public Order Unit moved in there for a minute and there was a bit and they seem to have left them march ahead of their banner like.”

“The Jeep could have went backwards ages ago but [inaudible] did not want to do that. …There’s no hassle really.”

This is an abomination of a case and the teenager whose life she has ruined needs to appeal his conviction if this case fails. She was surrounded by AGS, was in no danger and went home to sleep in her bed unharmed.

I was just pointing out that many people misunderstand what the crime of false imprisonment entails.

The point being the prosecution should never have been brought, accepting your point.

This trial is all about Paul Murphy. He stood up against the government on the water charges and they want to put him back in his box. Even the Judge has more or less said the Gardai have been lying. If these people are found guilty, it will be another sad day in this corrupt country.
