Default Jobstown trial

Nuts. I am astonished they are actually taking this to court. I expect Joan Burton is horrified.

False imprisonment apparently carries a maximum of life imprisonment. According to Paul Murphy in the papers today, over 6 months and he automatically loses his seat. Can you imagine how that would look?

Murphy is acting the drama queen as usual. He made an ass of himself at Jobstown and now he must deal with the consequences.

That depends on whether or not the things you do while making an ass of yourself are illegal or not. The guards seem to think that they are and so the consequence, at present, is a day in Court.
