Blarney beat Ballinhassig by 6 points.

Would be seen as a surprise. Ballinhassig were playing in the senior league division 1 all year so you’d expect that as good preparation while Blarney are only in division 3 which is mostly intermediate A sides.

Ballinhassig lead by 2 at halftime but Blarney outscored them 0-14 to 0-3 second half to lead by 9 nearing full time, Ballinhassig got a goal in injury time

Mark Coleman with a few classy touches as usual, plus one of his trademark points from a sideline

I was at the game. Thought ballinhassig would win but for a finish blarney were well on top and full value for the win. They're lifting and could be dark horses this season after nearly getting relegated last year.

No, he didn't . I said on here a short while ago he wouldn't feature in Munster championship. A few pages back some ill-informed opinion suggested that he was back playing club hurling and by extension a return for Cork return was imminent. The FACTS are that he is just back doing very very light training after surgery and is a long way off a Cork comeback. Even if Cork get an extended run to the AI series he may struggle to make that.

O neills are missing a serious amount of players with injuries. The few months break will be big for them to get guys back.

Why does it anger you that someone got something wrong? Half the posts written here are wrong anyways.

Any tips for the games at the weekend? Kilworth v Valleys should be interesting. Christopher o leary going well for UCC should be a boost for the innishannonsiders. You never know what to expect with either side. Valleys are missing Tadhg Fitzgerald, their free taker inside the 45 and Donal Kiely, their corner back. Both of whom are on a 2 week skiing holiday in Austria. Kilworth going well in div 1 but I wouldn’t rule out the wild rovers.
