Agreed roundy but the space talk was excellent. And the idea of sending an AI robot with a human brain to relay images due to the savage pull of the wormhole was very well presented I thought.

I ate sci fi btw. I loves it.

Mockumentary that really works well. An awful lot of space talk from nasa folk that will put off those looking for special effects.

I liked this very, very much.

7/10

Mother, started off interesting for the first 30mins, good cast but then went off on some demented trip 1/10 (1 for Jennifer Lawrence's nipple shot)

A cure for wellness 6.5/10
I am a bit confused about what they were trying to do here. Some of the movie was excellent but the gore element was a bit misplaced. Good casting for the main and Hannah. The setting was excellent and some interesting characters throughout. Enjoyable though and tense but it's a bit long- if you were at the cinema you'd have a sore ass.

Land of Steady Habits

Ben Mendehlson, as anyone would expect, carries the whole film. This, however, is more due to him being the protagonist than it is due to any of the rest of the cast being sub par. Edie Falco is wonderful in it in a role that is more reminiscent of the Sopranos than it is of Nurse Jackie. A mid-life crisis voyage of discovery story that seems hell-bent on ending in a train wreck but will it?

I'll give it a 7

I think we're alone now.

Peter Dinklage is terrific as always.
Elle Fanning is a babe.

Avoids most of the end of the world tropes and produces an interesting study on loneliness. The ending jars so Im deducting a point.

A very solid 7.
