Imagine how good he could have been if he hadnt been off his tits 3 nights out of 7 at the peak of his powers.

or if he had the onfield protection today’s players have in regards to tackling, etc.

you can’t argue greatness between differing eras because you don’t know how any player would react or behave in different circumstances. i doubt messi or ronaldo wouldn’t have the longevity in the game of the 80s but would el diego thrive today with the rigid drug tests?

still, for me, he’s the GOAT
