Jackie Duddy, aged 17, who was running away from the Paras, is carried through the car park at Rosville Street flats in search of an ambulance. Fr. Edward Daly (later Bishop Daly) was running beside young Duddy when he was shot.

Martin McGuinness was born May 23, 1950 in Derry. Despite only being aged in his early 20s in 1972, he was called before the Saville Inquiry investigating the Bloody Sunday shooting dead of civil rights protesters by soldiers in Derry. McGuinness is pictured at the funeral of IRA explosives expert Colm Keenan and Eugene McGillan in 1972.

The person who took this photo, Willie Carson, wouldn't allow this photo to be printed until after he died.

He wore that polo neck jumper for months. There's a pic of him somewhere with his elbows hanging out.
