im hoping the album will be good as a whole and not just bits and pieces..anyone else find it hard to like an album from start to finish these days?

Gawd almighty, just listened to Syro for the seventh time, such a gorgeous record, hints of guitar in bits, I wonder if he was influenced by early eighties Coctueu Twins, there is some Robin Guthrie style touches in bits. Also a progression of the Tuss and Squarepusher sound, but probably his most accessible record to date. Expect a blog review after the tenth listen. Highlight especially 'Produk 29' for sure. He takes the DJ Shadow thing here to the next level and simply Aphex's it, glad to have him back.

Had a ticket for the gig but a buddy didn't. Ended up flogging the ticket to some boeur and have been kicking myself ever since. Kick in the fucking balls.
