I remember when I was about 14 seeing Jimmy Page use one in the breakdown section of "Whole Lotta Love" in "The Song Remains The Same" so I thought to myself "I'll try that."
Never got around to it until a few years ago when I borrowed one.
Christ, it was more difficult than I expected.
My lack of proficiency didn't deter me from plugging in my guitar and jamming on "Whole Lotta Love" and putting in a 2 hour theremin breakdown replete with Page-esque wizard action. Dogs all over the gaff must have been going batshit.
Hmmm, maybe next I'll take a violin bow to the guitar.
