I've sent Michael Creed an email on that actually.
Got a usual "we're looking into it".

Macroom being his yard and all, sure he's already said he's not going to do anything about the hunts. The windbag.

Course not - the scumbag probably gets brown envelopes/backhanders aplenty from that shower.

He claims it's rare enough that one of his chicken gets killed and if a fox does get passed the dogs, it will take just one chicken.

I've noticed whenever a scumbag gets in the news like that guy who shot a girl in the neck or the wanker who threw the half dead eel into the swimming pool at the Kingsly or for violent crime etc, a lot of the time you'll see fox killing pics on their FB profiles. Scumbags are quite proud of killing foxes, travellers are mad for it too and badgers are another favorite because the little fellas put up such a fight, which apparently adds to the "sport".

DAWG posted this yesterday.

The pic is here ...https://scontent-dub4-1.xx.fbcdn.net...11&oe=5AC9D7B3
Its the mink who will kill all the chickens

What political party would shut down hunting do you think?
Even the Greens didn't try to do it.
Political parties are scared off by the horsey lobby that points to large employment in this country so I'd say there's no need for the (evidence free) brown envelopes that you're so eager to believe in.

I'd say that SF, The Greens and the AAA would all happily ban fox hunting but it will never happen with either a FF or FG led government in office.

There are very few votes in wildlife related issues unfortunately.

Fun historical fact. Heinrich Himmler was a chicken farmer before becoming the Reichfuhrer. All that time working on a farm with chickens and killing foxes. What it must do to a person.

Fox eats unprotected captive hens SHOCKA!!!!!!!!!!!

If you insist on keeping hens you just need to maintain proper fencing to keep foxes out.

If I was to leave the front door of my house open and the telly got nicked I can't exactly go around on horseback or even in my car trying to chase down scobes on St Stephens Day
