BOI used to sponsor football championship and national cricket team until the crash as well. Still sponsor UCC gaa as part of a deal that got AIB fucked off campus around 10 years ago.

I suspect the fact that provincial rugby is practically a religion amongst the D2/D4 groupthinkers that run this country probably means it's in BOI's interest as an entity to keep it up.

Sure Richie fucking Bouchier writes the welcome note in the Leinster rugby matchday programme.

Also, surely bank of irelands sponsorship of Leinster does not extend to affecting schools rugby? The schools themselves finance their own rugby programs I reckon. For 10 grand a year they'd want to.
