cracked bone in his hand, shouldnt keep him out for too long. Didn't Cantona start one season with his hand in a cast?

Problem is the cast though.

Cantona was able to wear a lightweight one because the bone was sufficiently healed.

Hmm, I wonder could Rooney do any more damage in training? Trodding on JT's metatarsal next would be nice.

To think it was Gary Nev who put Ashton out for the season why didnt he do it to someone more worthwhile

Its almost a year since Rooney was injured at Chelsea !
