44% of 57 TDs contacted by Newstalk admitted to doing this.

This is a systematic failure of the voting system. If you allow people to do this they will, that's human nature.

The voting system has to go back to the old system or it has to be fingerprint based as the current set up is not fit for purpose.

Eoin Murphy caught up in this but he says while somebody else pressed his button he was definitely in the chamber as on the video you can see his folder and there i s an entry in his diary saying he was there that day.😁

Louise O’Reilly of Sinn Féin the latest TD to admit they may have pressed a colleague’s voting button but only when they were actually in the chamber.

Vote early and often.

Is t this par for the course in Irish politics? One or two get caught doing something wrong and everyone is up in arms about it. A few more come out saying they’ve done wrong to get ahead of bad press and the shock from a handful doing wrong becomes, “ah, sure, they’re all at it!” And the whole thing is forgotten about.

It’s like if it was one or two we can drag them across the coals and make an example of them but if the problem is too big to address then just shrug the shoulders and move on.

Isn't he the Sf fella? I'm confused now. Why is some Ra fella posting on a thread he started lambasting ff? Has the thread title been changed? Fairly embarrassing for him imo to prematurely start that thread with what came out since. No doubt he's put his hands up and said mea culpa.
