1-0 fair result

United poor in a game where the quality was not good

Good poached goal won it Liverpool held their nerve deserved the win

Moyes used the fergie approach to away big games showed them too much respect though

Ashley young is not good enough terrible signing IMO but most offensive players were under par

Anyway, early days, they bounced back from a similar loss on merseyside last season

I think we need a decent box to box midfielder, or at least someone who'll break up play a bit and be the first line of attack in the 2/4 of the field. We have enough lovely passers. We need someone to impose their physicality.

Liverpool looked more up for it in big matches the small details matter

I thought this was exactly what Carrick is? The complete midfielder.
