Default City V St Pats

Back to the league next Friday at Turners Cross. It should be three points but the lads will probably have to fight for every point for the rest of the season.

Yeah its our last home game before Derry too. The run-in is gonna be very tough. Pats and Derry at home and Shels, Bohs, Waterford and Rovers away. Lets hope Derry drop a few points coz the lads arent gonna take 3 points from all those games.

Yeah ... second last one before the shed is gone forever ..... i'd imagine in years to come, people will be saying they were in the shed in 2005 when we won the league, just like the 500,000 people that saw Nirvana in Henries ?!!?

Hopefully all goes well for us in the away games (4) .... hopefully the City support will be good, to ensure we are still in with a shout for the title come the 18th of Nov V Derry ...... anyone considering taking in a game to any of the away trips ..... forget it, JUST GO !! ..... we'll need all the support we can get !!

There are buses planned to all of them anyway ... if you are interested ... Ring Andy on 086 05 9567 !!

The game tonight at the cross was an absoloute discrace. The referee was useless and St Pats wasted time every chance they got. City were poor to be fair but it must be so frustrating to play against that kind of shit. Derry lost 1-0 to Waterford at the Brandywell so all remains the same at the top

Final score Cork City 0 St Pats 1

Two St Pats players sent off

Best put this game behind us. We got off the hook with Derry losing as well, but hopefully this will be a reminder to the lads that they dont have a divine right to win, just becasue theyre up against a lesser side.
