Close the Airports except for emergency flights. Then the airlines will have to cancel the flights.

Which do you think should take precedence Earl - the public health or profit margins? Nearly 2,000 people in this jurisdiction have died as a result of Covid - something we as a nation were exposed to more than we should have been, so that some business people could make a few extra bob.

They called off the match on health and safety grounds, but they didn't stop the likely infected people coming. And they only eventually cancelled Paddy's Day Celebrations. They let the Cheltenham and CL crowds fly out and squeeze together on planes (and of course out there) and come back as well. Do you think any of that was wise?

Personally I won't be flying anywhere until at least next year.

How many people were repatriated back to Ireland from flights all over the globe that time and the following few weeks? How many school tours came back from France and Italy that time?

Aer Lingus just cancelled my flight to Malaga from Cork in three weeks time, giving me a definitive answer. Wasn’t keen on going at this stage anyway. Quite happy to sit this stupidity out.
