Default Eir TV package reviews needed

Hi all,

I an considering switching from my Sky TV Basic package to Eir strictly based on money terms. My Sky is costing about €55 while the Eir offer is €15 a month with a two week testing period and free TV for a full year to start with. Sky are doing the usual to try and keep me as a customer, but (free v €55) for the first year and then (€15 v €55) after is hard to miss. Now I have heard rumours that Eir TV is like a streaming service as it uses the internet connection to broadcast the TV. It is an IPTV.

I would have 4 people living in the house and can have up to 4 devices connected to the internet at any one time. Our internet package is the standard Eir "up to 100Mb", I average up to 30/4Mb in my area of Cobh, but I am told that I will be put on a higher band again that will allow me to gain faster speeds.

I can cancel Eir after the two weeks testing period, so I'm wondering what are people's experience with Eir TV?

Anyone who is currently using same with genuine experience.
