There was actually mentions of mike bordin of faith no more at one stage i believe but jason would be the natural choice for most. He couldnt do any worse than the half assed job phil collins did at live aid 85

in fairness phil collins is a fantastic drummer (normally) but he was crap that day, they should have just stuck with tony thompson

I was at the JaMC gig at Connolly Hall around 1989 and I don't remember it being that riotous, in fact I thought it was kinda subdued. Mind you copious amounts of Guinness were consumed in a snug(!) beforehand so my memory is a bit fuzzy.

I don't think it was all that crowded and it was a short enough gig, which they were famous for.

Anyway, they released an album 'Damage and Joy' in March and are touring in September again, but no Cork this time.
