Default Moving to West Cork

New to the forum, hi all!
We are a family of 4 with 2 kids aged 7 and 5 and are moving back to Ireland after being away for over 15 years.
Both our parents are in West Cork so that is where we are heading ; Clonakilty.
Any advice on schools or other would be appreciated.
Many thanks

That's very specific advice! Most people here are in their twenties and thirties.
Clonakilty has become very bohemian. Lots and lots of people moving there from outside the town. Very friendly place with lots of clubs, societies and a big live music scene. If you don't mind the weather you're in for a treat.

Look at this for example

Thanks a million NGA. Really quite nervous about moving back, for the kids sakes more than ours, we've been in France for 12 years now..
That favour exchange website is exactly one of the reasons we are moving back. The French are just too different to us.
