90% of the pubs mentioned so far are by no means dangerous places to go for a drink.
That said, you wouldn't take your missus into most of them.
I'm tempted to go into that Quirkies gaff for a sconce though.
When it was called Noel Murphy's there was a fella stabbed on the doorstep with a samurai sword by some looper who was just out of prison. This was about 3 hours after I had refused to serve the ex con in a bar in the same locality.

Only yesterday I enjoyed a wonderfully crisp pint of Irish craft ale in the Crane before wandering over to the Bodega for a sumptuous lunch with Mrs Baggy.
