I was. it was harsh but he should not have given the ref the chance to make that decision imo. He went in on the keeper no malice but just caught him.

Cheers for that Delzer, as said wasn`t at it just read all the reports saying harsh and it made it out to be completely unwarranted. roll on bohs (tough one though i`d say run could end there)
Don`t know much about Keigan Parker but in the pic he seems to be carrying a few pounds and his wiki shows him to be on a downward spiral, including unsuccessful spells at clubs which i can guarantee are of a worse standard than CCFC having watched plenty of non league in UK Scottish lower leagues are also a worse standard in my opinion although i haven`t watched them live. has done some good things but years ago i`d be shocked if he made a big impact tbh. anybody know more about the fella or have a differing opinion?

Cork City FC is pleased to announce that it will host English club Blackburn Rovers in a friendly fixture at Turner’s Cross on Sunday August 12th (Kick Off 3pm). Blackburn Rovers, while relegated from the FAPL last May, remains one of England’s biggest clubs with a proud history including the fact that it is one of only five clubs to have won the Premier League Championship. The club enjoys strong support and with the quality of its squad is expected to contend strongly for an immediate return to the top division in the coming season.
Cork City Manager Tommy Dunne said “This is another attractive fixture for us and for our fans. Blackburn is a top club with some excellent players and the fact that the game is being played so close to the start of the English season means Turner’s Cross will see the Blackburn side in peak condition. It will be a good test for our young squad”
Blackburn Manager, Steve Kean said “We are having a short stay at Fota Island Resort where we will be able to do some training so to have a game against one of Ireland’s top clubs a week ahead of the start of our season is the ideal preparation for us.
“The match will certainly be a competitive one as Cork City are in the middle of their season, so physically they will be at the top level. We are away to Ipswich Town in our first fixture so it is important for us to end pre-season with a performance that gives us momentum going into the campaign.”
Cork City FC has confirmed that tickets for the game will go on sale on Tuesday morning at Bishopstown and online through Ticketmaster and will be priced at €10 and €5 for concessions.

Even though it's just a friendly, I hope they bring all their big stars - Neal Horgan, Shan O'Connor, Gavin Kavanagh...
