Default DAVE THE DRUMMER | An Cruiscin Lan | June 2nd

http://www.facebook.com/events/227796617331513/

Dave the Drummer is a man on a mission.
He started his career in 1995 as the producer for the infamous Liberator DJs in London, working with them as programmer, mix engineer and collaborator on the Stay Up Forever Label.
The label grew, and soon Cluster records was born, along with the sound of London Acid Techno. Many other labels followed, and DAVE recorded and produced on most of them, labels such as Smitten, Routemaster, Raw, Eukatech, TEC, Boscaland, and DAVE's very own HYDRAULIX imprint formed the backbone of the Acid Techno movement, which has now invaded most countries around the globe.
With his trademark grooves and crisp productions DAVE has gone on to make some of the most respected classic Acid Techno records in the world:
• One Night in Hackney on S.U.F. records with Chris Liberator.
• Hydraulix 09 on his own Hydraulix label.
• Cradle cap, on his Apex imprint.
• Soul image, on Riot recordings with B.K.
• The Human Animal, on Chris Liebing’s Fine Audio Recordings.
as well as MANY others.
For the past 15 years DAVE has been playing his tracks from his vast catalogue of tracks all over the world. As a DJ He has a reputation for being innovative and sharp on the turntables, and now, playing with Traktor Scratch and an armload of fresh, new, unreleased material, his DJ sets have become explosive.
He has held down a residency at Sao Paulo's super club Lov.e in Brazil and has been offered many exclusive residencies in the UK and around the globe. Never to be tied down, DAVE is a regular visitor to South America as well as Japan , Australia , Venezuela, Canada , Russia, and the rest of Europe and has played most of the best clubs and festivals in the world over his 15 year career as a traveling DJ
In recent years Dave’s sound has shifted away from the dark acidic sound of the London underground to a slower funkier dark techno groove. His recent work on the label Mutate to Survive and Reklusive and his Collaborations with Tom Laws are picking up attention from some of the worlds top techno DJ's. Including:
Oliver Huntemann, Len Faki, Fergie, Ritchie Hawtin, Calvertron, Bryan Zentz, DJ Preach, DJ Murphy, Carl Cox, Chris Finke, Wehbba, Maetrik, and many more.
The story doesn't end there, DAVE is now working on his own custom sample CD's, The first of which "DAVE THE DRUMMERS TEKNO TOOLBOX" is released through Lenny Dee's ISR label and DAVE is currently working on a follow up to that.
He's been teaching Ableton Live at workshops at the AIMEC DJ academy in Brazil, he is the chief editor of the technical section of new UK dance magazine CORE and in his spare time ( which doesn't exist ) he's studying web design and planning to become a fully qualified web professional, to help build the best music orientated websites in the future.
New album projects, a new digital label HYDRAULIX 909 and countless studio collab sessions are on the way, and lot's more music of course.
