Default Best vaule Netbook on the market at present?

Hi folks,

Just wondering if anybody could direct me towards some good vaule netbooks out there at the moment.
Mainly using it for the Internet but might have to do some video encoding at some point so something with a bit of grunt would be ideal. Not bothered about HDD space.

Also, komplett used to be quite competitive a few years back just wondering if thats still the case.

Cheers.

Enough grunt for video encoding?

Well, the Apple Macbook Air would probably be able to do it, but I can't see too many netbooks being capable of it.

Yeah a bit of encoding is the most intnesive thing i would use it for, and at that it would only converting vids to mp4. Nothing earthshattering.

Am i right in steering away from Acer?

Yes, they have one of the worst reliability records in the industry.

Personally, I've a Samsung N230, it's grand, but it is clearly underpowered. Considering buying it more RAM, which isn't ideal...

Pretty heft machine. It'll do what you want easily enough, but tis no netbook. Nice machine though and a good price I reckon.
