Cool Nigeria.....ugh....

Anyone been to Nigeria, m8s?

I'm not posting this thread in the travel forum as this is not travel.

At least not the enjoyable type of travel with pictures and laughter and the occasional unwanted pregnancy.

This is an ugly, ugly scene.

I have to go to Lagos. And then I have to go out into the outback.

"Escorted by armed police".

This could be it, m8s.

I suppose I had a handy enough innings.

I assume one spends one's days and nights in Nigeria barricaded into ones hotel or hiding in other places?

God damned.

I presume no proccers (at least alive proccers) have been to this jolly, jolly place.

I used to work in a refugee centre, a Nigerian working there went back to see friends and family. He was robbed and beaten up, said he will never go back, Ireland is now his home.

We were offered a sizeable contract there, I was getting a taxi home that evening and the driver happened to be from Lagos, nice fella. He nearly crashed the car laughing when I asked what the likelihood of it working out for us was. We declined

By the way, you’ll be seen as a witch out there with your alabaster skin and ginger bonce - ever hear of necklacing? ...and I don’t mean the filth your ol lade and I get up to

I'm going to have armed protection whereever I go.

But how do I know if the armed protection is not Boko Harem or just criminal scum looking for kidnapping material.

2 underlings in other departments suddenly got sick this week and can't travel.

One was getting dizzy all of a sudden and the other fella has no yellow fever vaccination.

He realised that just after the flights were confirmed.

I didn't drink in the last 2 weeks but I reckon that business class journey will be pretty wet.

You couldn't go to Nigeria sober.

Don't they use body parts of ginger people in their traditional medicines?
