Default Manchester United and shit F.A Cup Finals!!

What's the deal like ?

They've now arguably been involved in the four worst cup finals of the modern era .

1995 v Everton
1996 v Liverpool
2005 v Arsenal
2007 v Chelsea

and they were the close ones.

( I understand that this comes across as a bit Edmund Blackwaterish but it's not a dig at Untited .... just something i thought about while struggling to keep awake today)
.

3 terrible games there

The Arsenal one was pretty good though
United attacked incessantly but couldn't break through

The 3-3 was pretty good in 1990 but the replay was poor

1994 was good, 1999 good but a bit of a let-down for the neutral, as was 2004

1977 was very good, so was 1979, same with 1983 (two games) and 85 was a good tense game

The Arsenal on was a bit of bait to be honest but it was still a poor enough game(not Uniteds fault). '94 was terrible in terms of competitiveness though.

Stevie... football began in '92! stop trying to be clever

Heh heh

I actually watched the 94 one again during the week and Chelsea were the better team before the peno's, they even hit the bar with Peacock i think

Funny when Chelsea player Burley was talking about the Chelsea of that era during the week and mentioning their 17,000 crowds! It's changed a lot in the Roman era!

Yup amazing what a bit of cash will do , eh?

Didn't United get a dodgy pen in that game to kick things off . Should have been a free 2 yards outside the box if I remember corectly.

They even had the refs way back then ffs

48 and 63 were crackers as well.

I'd agree that the Arsenal game is the odd one out of those 4, ...the other 3 were awful. The Liverpool one, United had a few chances in the first 10 minutes and the rest of the game was rubbish.

I'd blame Arsenal and Liverpool for having the more defensive role in both those two games.

And that'll be the final nail in your knowledge of football coffin.
I watched that game with a manyoo fan and after 15 minutes i was supporting Liverpool in it. Manyoo doubled up on Mcmanaman and kicked lumps out of liverpool players throughout the game. Liverpool were the more attacking and exciting team all season and whiskeynose was afraid of them so he attemoted, successfully, to forego football so as to subdue liverpool.
