Should he not have to pay back the salary and expenses that he has claimed since being elected as an MEP in 2014?
The EU Parliament is but a fašade of democracy. An MEP has no real power to initiate or change legislation.
This is the purvue of the 28 unelected Commissioners.
Brian is in a minority of less than 1% representation for Ireland,. he is not missed, but his salary, if spent in Ireland helps our economy in a small way and makes a minute inroad into the Euro 1 billion we pay for the privilege of being members of an exclusive club. Enjoy your democracy.
