Not at all for the quality of the boxers or the fight itself but for sheer excitement as a viewer then The Prince Naseem V's Kevin Kelley fight has to be up there. The cocky one getting put on the mat twice (i think) in the first few rounds of his U.S. debut when prior to the fight he had seemed unhittable made for some great TV.

Coming down to the ring WWF style and then getting knocked on his ass a few times made it all the more exciting.

Benn/McClellan was probably the best fight I've ever seen during my life. Fucking tragic that his corner didn't notice what was happening to him at the end of the fifth round though.

Apart from that, all of the Benn/Watson/Eubank fights are classics. Can't think of many non-middleweight fights that were much good over the past ten years though.

Bowe v Holyfield 1 was a classic as well . I clearly remember staying up with the whole family till about 4 in the morning and being absolutely gripped . Probably the last great heavyweight fight

there was a good feature on the Benn McLellan fight in yesterdays Guardian, highlighting a benefit dinner Benn is putting on for McLellan.

It had good reflections on it from a lot of people involved, ..cornermen, commentators, promoters etc.. good article. tragic.
