I have a rover 620. The exhaust is held up at the back by two metal prongs, but one of them has fallen off and the other one is rusted. This means that my exhaust could fall off at some stage. Before I go to the garage I wanted to check if anyone knows is this repairable, or will I have to fork for a new exhaust? And what is this likely to cost?
Thanks

repairable
Sounds like it's just the clamp that's gone. Easily fixed if so.

If it's one of the arms just get it welded back on, if it's a rubber that's gone, order on in any motor factors.

Get a flux capacitor, that'll keep it firm on.

When I had my ancient Volvo 340 the exhaust fell off one day as I was driving towards Limerick. Instead of getting any repairs done I tied it back onto the car using an old sock that I had in the boot. So if you have an old sock you might be alright. Hope that helps.

That's priceless!
I hear they also have headlight fluid! Might pick up a bottle just in case ;)
